There is no place in our country for bullying. It starts when our kids are toddlers and do something mean. We have to gently and lovingly correct them. So many times I see mom’s and dad’s ignore unacceptable behavior and say “they’ll figure it out” or “kids will be kids.” Kids need good direction....

The bullying that is occurring in our country is a tragedy and as adults we need to set examples to the youth by being compassionate, openly displaying empathy and valuing those around us. We may not agree with each other all the time but we do need to respect one another.
